Tim is a busy Choral Director with a broad knowledge of the mainstream repertoire and a special interest in Tudor English Music and 20th Century American Music. He has directed Choirs in Holland, Canada, USA, and Norway, working on a range of repertoire and with the reputation of infectious enthusiasm, Tim is available for workshops and guest conducting and is also a specialist in ‘bring and sing’ events and can help to organise these. Current Choirs and Projects

Since Founding the choir in 1994 Tim has directed The Heritage Singers a Leeds based chamber choir of some 24 singers who exist to preserve the Anglican Choral tradition. This choir provides Choral Services to churches that are no longer with choirs, with a list of over 150 events to its credit both here and overseas in the USA Holland Ireland Hungary and Norway this busy choir will be singing in Newport, Manchester and Sheffield Cathedrals in 2009 as well as the normal round of services in Rural Churches. The offshoot concert choir - Heritage Masterworks Chorale - will launch with a series of Concerts in and around Leeds showcasing a range of Music in the ‘ from the known to the unknown’ series to a subscription audience

Tim also directs Vocalis (previously Harrogate Chamber Singers) This is an enterprising choir whose repertoire is very wide, performing mainly in North Yorkshire and Vocalis are spending 2009 on a Music series called Northern Lights. This will include music from Northern England, Scotland and Scandinavia. They also plan to record a CD during the year of some of the entrants from the Vaughan Williams Composers Competition.

Current choir survival projects

Tim has also recently taken on The Grassington Singers and will be spending time revitalising this choir and performing with them in Grassington Town Hall in April 2009. They are however looking for a full time New Musical Director.
